Pressure cookers are great time-savers. There are many different types: large, small, stove-top and elecronic. I have a few of them and love them all.

One of my favorite cooking appliances is the electronic Meal'n Minutes by Revere. This digital pressure cooker makes pot roasts, chili, stews, briskets and great rice too. It cooks beans without soaking. Meal'n Minutes can even make desserts. I especially like its set in advance feature. Unfortunately, Revere has long discontinued the Meal'n Minutes, however other companies carry similar cookers. Mine is very old. I got it around 1990 in Reny's up in Damariscotta, Maine when I was shopping with my sister-in-law Gail.
