I reduce the amount of cream and sugar. I use 2 cups of cooked rice, 1 1/3 cups milk, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and 1/2 to 3/4 cups mixture of dried cranberries, raisins, and broken pistachios or other nuts. IMPORTANT The Meal 'n Minutes Manual has a mistake. When steaming, fill the bottom of cooker with water to cover the rack, as little as 1/4 cup, not 4 cups!. I cook the pudding in my steel mixing bowl which fits the cooker perfectly. Leave the handles up so bowl can be inserted and removed easily.
